+ A plus point I give 100% merino wool for the material. Just after that I had been looking for, because I have had very good experiences with underwear made of pure merino wool from a German organic clothing provider. Just as pleasant is also here the heat without you sweat.
+ Processing is high.
- Some chemical smell when unpacking, coming probably from the packaging. The packaging is a clear plastic zipper pocket for warmer. The material does contain plasticizers, because the empty packaging smells just as chemical after a month. That's why I washed before the first tightening with wool detergent in Wollwaschgang the kneepads. After the disturbing smell was almost completely gone.
- The first time I have the kneepads attracted directly to the skin - it is indeed recommended in the description. Even right after tightening hard seams were unpleasantly scratchy noticeable, and after a few hours I had in wearing a knee aching red patches on the skin. These were caused by the seams that are running pretty hard. Then I put on the warmer than the long underpants that I already often wear in cold weather. It makes them feel a little closer to, but still ok, and the problem of scratching no longer occurs.
The heat output is very good, as well as the fit (no slides) and a pleasant cushioning when kneeling. Also fall under the warmer pants as well as not on.
I give four stars and can the warmer, if you can cope with all these issues, highly recommend it.
