Hardware & Software:
Although plastic makes the BeBook to me a robust impression. Two pairs of buttons (left and below) and a Flipschalter (right) make the turning on each side and with each hand simply. Installation is unnecessary, you simply push the SD card with the gespeichrten books in the slot or stores the books from the PC with the Explorer on the BeBook. So I want to have.
Negative (but rather unimportant): The operation of the full-text search is a spasm, because the keys are very slow and you have to press a key several times as the cell phone to get a specific letter. The handling was almost impossible here.
Readability:
Although the contrast at first glance looks weak (the background is rather medium gray than white), you can read the writing in any light well and most importantly, they can be inflated to even the huge size. That is of course that you have to turn over frequently. Breaks in the PDF but executed properly and not disturb the flow of reading.
Negative: All menus are much too small and unreadable for me. I had to remember me which option where available. The publication also can not be customized. I fail to see why, because the fields tolerated loose nor more 2-3 point font size.
Running Time:
Disaster! The manufacturer states that you can do Umblättervorgänge 7000 and thus has two weeks reading fun. I had, however every 1 to 1.5 days, charge the battery, after less than 1000 Umblättervorgängen. Since I had the font is very large (M) were only about 3-4 hours of reading fun, and that was particularly evident on the air travel without outlet near enough. The manufacturer was able to give me any information as to whether that was now a failure or if the battery is always so when BeBook, so I gave the unit all the way back. A shame because everything else I liked or would have been acceptable.
