Preamble. We must be aware that to lose weight:
- 70% of the results come from the diet (reduction in daily calorie intake by cutting carbohydrates)
- 25% of the results come from sports (consumption of calories during exercise + building muscles increase metabolism so calorie consumption including at rest), but already there must not be too much to hope for. For 30 minutes of jogging, you crame equivalent of calories contained in a chocolate croissant. It is hard to finally not much (when it would be so easy to not eat chocolate bread at all)
- And only 5% of the results come from food supplements category where the fat burning is located commented here.
Certainly these last 15 days I lost weight (a big fat kilo) but I also ate much better in quality and quantity (1500 kcal per day on average), I do a lot of sports (6 hours on average per week) I am less stressed and less tired. Is this burner helped me?
Let's look at the components. All individually help the metabolism, but do I need? And is that the quantities make a difference? This supplement contains CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), L-Carnitine, the green tea extract and piperine.
- Piperine; it is one of the molecules contained in turmeric. I eat regularly, I have no lack of that side I think. So no interest for me to have a dietary supplement with this element.
- The green tea extract: I already consumes a liter a day, no interest nor there for me.
- L-Carnitine: is found in meat (especially red), and to a lesser extent dairy products, avocado ... I consumes an average of 2 liters of semi-skimmed milk a week, I have to eat well red meat 1-2 times a week on average, and sometimes I eat avocado. In principle no lack of that side either ...
- CLA: is a molecule which slightly improves the ratio of muscle mass and fat mass (more muscle, less fat, bingo). It is found in milk and meat from ruminants, I must also have.
So in principle I do not miss any of these. And quantity, is that change anything? In fact, not significantly. Some ingredients taken in too large quantities would put health at risk (including CLA). The legislation is strict and the fat-burning products are very low dose. So I doubt the intensity of impact. Stop fries and cakes will be easier.
I recommend the excellent website "health passport" if you want to deepen your knowledge of some of these elements.
