Advantage of Raspi:
* Very large community and well maintained distributions
* Many GPIO pins for hardware gadgets
* Low
Disadvantages:
* CPU quite weak, because it is itself a system update for Puzzle
Yes on the intended use:
* Only 100Mbit network
* No S-ATA
* RAM goes like this (512MB)
The Raspi has needed me at rest in about as much power as a ODROID U3 has the 24x CPU power, that even a little, but not significantly less than other boards. The U3 draws under full load a bit more power, but it also has considerably more CPU power.
Since I do not use the GPIO pins and a little more CPU in many places is helpful, but I then switched to a U3.
