First, the packaging, Sennheiser typical "Good product, less packaging" and that is very pleasant in my eyes, because you are then not ever busy with unpacking and not at the end has the feeling that you would have bought more packaging than product.
The comfort is very good. I have therefore already at so some headphones had a fairly large head and the problem is that these already smelled the first touchdown or "overstretch" were. The Sennheiser HD 449 Everything is perfect, as the headphones had been specially made for me. When placing the omnidirectional microphone, headphone are light and comfortable on the head and nothing pushes or scrapes. The only drawback are the one, however, used very quickly (max. 1 minute), the really minimal to hard earpads.
The sound quality is also very good. The different styles of music I listen to, I can say that the Sennheiser HD 449 are very suitable for all areas. They give very high tones equally well again how deep tones. The reproducing quality is very very good and noise eats these Kopfhöreern no trace heard. In my opinion, the headphones are not explicitly designed for bass-heavy music, which although does not bother me because I'm not a friend of a strong bass, but for some, this may be a reason not to opt for these headphones. In this case, I recommend the Sennheiser HD 439, which are indeed stronger in the bass, but also weaker in the treble range.
The processing and material quality are also very good with the Sennheiser HD 449. As mentioned above, the headphones are very light and can be very good wear even with large heads. Despite its low weight it has nevertheless to keep the feeling something very valent in hands.
