From the above requirements is shown so sure already that I am not a "power user", but have a functional relationship with my mobile phone. So far I am very happy with my choice. The topics in detail:
- Small and light: Top met, falls into any jacket pocket to negative.
- Email integration and processing: very satisfied
- Internet: very satisfied, data connection via Wi-Fi herovrragend (Youtubevidos run better than on my PC), via the telephone network well.
- Price: good for about 200.- when compared to what level (age, processing and software), the remaining equipment for the money are. At least at the time of my preliminary research for sale that was.
- Battery: satisfactory. Who does not 24/7 runs a bit careful and the unit under full load must come loose beyond one day.
- Timeliness: compared with the age and the software standards (price) comparable devices definitely the better choice
- Office documents: working, reading goes well, the editing is due to the screen size, only a very limited extent
- Radiation value: do my research at about 0.68 - was acceptable for me.
General statements about the device: the much-criticized "weak hardware" falls with me only minimally to the weight (as an aside, the specs are almost identical to the Apple Phone 3G and this I have not read any such reviews). Only if you really uses multiple apps at the same time you realize minimal lag, also at relatively low battery. The handling and the feel are great and everything seemed very valuable (significant increase ggüber Samsung Ace for example.) The compounds (telephone and Internet) are much more stable and clearer than my predecessor and I have better equipment availability. With the much-criticized display resolution I have no problems. The operation I find it very successful, writing lyrics is very good especially in landscape mode.
So why only four stars? Now, two small downer I have discovered: In bright sunlight the display is really very difficult to see. The camera takes good shots, but has clearly weaknesses in slightly diffuse lighting conditions. For example, QR codes are not recognized properly against indirect supermarket light. But I was looking for a smart phone yes, no camera ;-)
I hope thus to have helped, all compared with other devices based on our own experiences. So as a general means: Who gets a three apples in their hands and thus well get along, but what newer, smaller (display is the same size, only the device smaller and thinner) and not apfeliges investigated is the HTC Desire C definitely good advise. From me a full purchase recommendation for each of a practical smartphone and no replacement Laptop investigated.
