Hard to believe, but to the brilliant first album "The complaint", the hype and the countless chart successes and prices ... We are heroes rise again! Real surprising because how high the pressure on Judith Holofernes and her boys had after the great debut on they sounded so bold, fresh, rocky and eloquently. But "From here on blind" is the 2nd album, after you've been yearning for. The songs sound much more elaborate than on the debut, the band seemed altogether more mature without having however lost their freshness and their rowdiness ... The opener "When it happens" is a potential hit with the one now mitmuss ... Quick Party numbers ( "Just one word", "pimp", "comes apart") abound and they are the hits from the first disk in every way. And the quieter numbers such as "Can I keep it?" or "I will exert all my life ..." know to inspire ... tender and soulful. Wir sind Helden play music that is genuine, unadulterated, interpreted beautifully. The charm of the can spread the 3 boys and 1 girl you hardly escape, even if you can do with German music little else (like me :)). But we can be proud that we have such a thing in Germany and be glad that finally back good music has prevailed. "From here on blind" is one of the best records of the previous year. Beautiful guitar pop with a lot of energy and a lot of feeling. For all fans of good music is a must!
