I have now the clock a few days and would like to share my first impressions.
I heard about the Einzeigerdesign through an advertising banner on watches on the internet. After I informed me closer on the principle and the idea behind it, I was interested in it and I had decided zuzulegen such a clock.
To select a clock state of Slow Watch and this clock from Botta-Design. The much more expensive hand watches MeisterSinger not arrived for me from the beginning because of the high prices into consideration.
What was the decisive Kriterum ultimately, is why I have decided on the clock from Botta-Design is the extremely hard sapphire crystal, which is mainly installed in higher-quality watches and accordingly raises the price. The watches Slow Watch only mineral glass is installed. In contrast to Slow Watch the clock from Botta-Design "only" is up to 30m waterproof, while the clock of Slow Watch is up to 100 meters waterproof. But honestly: If you dive with a clock already 100m deep?
Outwardly makes the clock from Botta-Design a high-quality impression. I have bought the clock with silver Gehäuße because I previously had a bad experience with black-coated clocks. Once you are so random bit more off beaten without intention of a harder object, an unsightly Macke was there the same there. But I can say nothing as to the quality of the coating of Botta-Design. But I thought to myself that sometimes is just less. Above all, you pay for such a black coating more.
The bracelet is made of hypoallergenic leather. It is initially a bit hard, but after a few hugs wearing good and acceptable to the wrist.
When I now read the description and have played around a bit on the clock, a few things struck me.
The enclosed description refers to the UNO 24 and not on the UNO 24 NEO. This is problematic, since they concerned different settings of watches and it can be confusing so. While is explained in the description that the adjuster can be pulled to the side of the clock in two steps from the clock (first Eirasten for setting date and second engagement for setting the time), the wheel at the NEO engages only once. If one then turns the wheel anticlockwise, is used to set the time and when you turn the wheel clockwise, provides you the date.
Also appearing in the description of the important information that due to the Konstrucktrionsweise, the gears have a certain play and the clock a certain lead time of 5 to 10 minutes has until this has synchronized again and the pointer continues. In my NEO but these are about 14 minutes. Whether that is still in the Tolerance at the clock I do not know, because as has been said applies to the description of a different model.
Here then comes the biggest hurdle: The Activate setting the time. On the Tolerance of the lead time of its own clock, you have to rantasten slowly. It sets the clock for a few minutes in the future and let them run. Through the lead time it takes some time until the pointer begins to move. After a while you then compares the time with eg a radio clock. By the time difference then leaves by adding or subtracting the time difference to the front eigestellten minutes, determine the correct time to market. This may degenerate into a patient task, especially if you try the clock as closely as possible to set and the next opportunity to do so every 20 minutes is possible. Yes, I know that the clock and the concept behind it is not intended to display the time as accurately as possible but feels nunmal initially committed yet old habits and I am now times a perfectionist. ;)
Once you passed this once and geschaftt set the clock it exactly, it runs very reliably and it is even possible to read the time accurately to within 5 minutes, although the slash marks on the dial once every 10 minutes. 5 minutes have then just always exactly between two strokes. I compared it with my clock. ;)
This accuracy is more than adequate, not only in their free time, but also at work. For example, I never heard of a meeting that started exactly at 10:17 clock.
By 24 display system you actually get a better sense of time throughout the day.
An eye-catcher is the clock all and should also take care of a lot of conversation with people that discover this.
In my view, the clock is definitely worth its price and represents a good compromise between the price cheaper, but also provided with a one-hand watches approvers glass of Slow Watch and the more expensive watches MeisterSinger.
The clock came with me to well packaged and the delivery was made within two business days. To this end, I have I to complain nothing.
