But where then? In the title of my review ... this game is immersive; it takes a scenario, it tells you it, it will install it ... it makes you play, but also tells a story (and how!) The scenario is not relegated to 20th level, he is there, it's almost the centerpiece.
To tell the story, the game will include dialogues in game phases but also incorporate a relatively large number of cinematics. While some do not like to be interrupted when they play me ... it does not bother me since I'm not just there to break the zombie, but also to know why I do it.
Next, let us be clear, the story is linear in the sense that you will have 0 influences it, you will not have a tough choice to do ... but it's worth it to get caught by the hand to live a few emotions well placed and well proportioned, to see the characters evolve slowly, situations become somewhat blurred. It's not a movie, it is indeed a video game, but a video game that one lives.
But immersing stop there: I said it was not a movie, but the cutscenes are well played, convincing voice actors are fair. Furthermore, music, discreet and not omnipresent, is well used and definitely puts in the mood.
Something else? Yes! The sound! But the sound ... on a 5.1 system (if not 7.1), this is crazy ... mount a hair volume, close your eyes ... it lives, it is there, it is there with them! !
I am a casual player ... but games like that, I think it's worth it.
Attention by cons ... so it is a style that I love, so I am well aware that it's not for everyone ... those who swear by the frantic rhythms, to the castagne all is the gore for gore and / or emotional release, I think this game will not please you.
