If someone is having technical difficulties, this may be due to many other things, or perhaps you have caught a Monday device. If someone only one star forgives because he overlooked the fact that this receiver funzt only with Philips TV set, then it may itself give zero stars. I have the receiver since the end of October 09 on a Philips TV 37 PFL 8404. No faults, brilliant picture, only one remote control, nothing anywhere else standing around, less clutter ... The installation is simple and straightforward. The connections are not huge, so check in advance if you still want to connect other devices. As with other providers, the aspect ratio adjustment is not always optimal and may have to manually (easily) be made. This, however, I also had in the previous model of another company. My receiver provides picture and sound to a surround receiver and from there only for TV - perfectly. On my surround receiver Recorder other devices are u. Connected, which is why I need no further connections. A little cheaper could be the part. For Philips user I can only say - finger back!
