Whether under Android 1.5 or 2.1:
The Spica has a bug in the software, which uses up quite quickly after using the camera's battery. Once you have activated the camera namely - whether to take pictures, or because one has read bar codes, the processor in its fastest and most energy mode ("Performance") is switched - on and not come back from this mode.
But Remedy provides a small free application called "Cools" in the Market. Herewith you can always switch back to normal mode frugal ("conservative") the processor again.
Together with the "Advanced Task Manager", which allows you to close all unneeded applications with one touch (just observe the surface before the few applications that are not to be "killed" ("Pantheon" can always be activated, otherwise react the phone no longer accept) in an exception list, and then simply "all End" button whenever necessary) and in conjunction with the included Android widget "Power Control", which can be used very comfortable Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS and Syncdienst always only switch if you really need one of these services, so keeps the battery of my Spicas even with intensive Internet use entirely almost 2 days.
In my opinion, the most important of all, however, is the downshift, the processor speed to the camera use, which is using "Cools" from the Market fortunately easy.
