Location and battery life to review, if not quite

Like all cameras, it takes time and perseverance to learn to use, but the menus and functions are intelligently arranged. Practical travel for extra photos or candid shots. I'm on my second trip with this unit and I am a bit irritated by the time it takes the unit to acquire satellites for location. Often more than 5 minutes, with frequent signal loss through the woods or in town.
Also in GPS mode, the battery takes up to 2 hours so always turn off this feature when you are no longer outside, to extend battery life. I had to bring myself to buy more batteries and it is not uncommon for me in three vacuum for one day. This ridiculous autonomy undermines the side "fighter" that Pentax is trying to put forward. Note that each battery replacement, satellite acquisition gets zero. Pity. The concept méritereait better.
