For 199.99 MSRP new Honor4X provides a solid overall package.
The 5.5-inch HD display (720 x 1,280 pixels) comes with a 620 chipset Kirin with 1.2GHz clock speed and 8 cores, 64-bit capable and 2GB of RAM, 8GB ROM and a memory expansion up to 32GB. The Honor4X offers HSPA and WLAN also 4G LTE.
In addition, a GPS receiver and Bluetooth 4.0. The Honor 4X works with Huawei's own Emotion UI 3.0 interface. The operating system is preinstalled KitKat 4.4.2, but an update on Lollipop 5.0 is already promised for summer 2015. Games, videos and streaming works smoothly and without problems.
The camera ensures good photos and videos
The main camera takes photos up to 13 megapixels, the front camera with a maximum of 5 megapixels.
The colors of the photos look colorfast, and the white balance works reliably.
The only complaint I have is the not always reliable sharpness. Then you could with a 13 megapixel camera a bit more expected. Videos are recorded with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution where the quality is perfectly adequate. Only the internal microphone is the sound not really good. Large battery ensures long operating time
One of the main features is the 3000 mAh battery.
This makes for an average term of approx.48 hours.
A practical test of me, has confirmed this.
Unfortunately, the battery is firmly installed, and therefore not interchangeable.
Big plus compared with other smartphones!
One of the first smartphones with dual LTE Sim
In Honor 4X Two Micro-SIM card slots are available, this is the particularity that these two slots are LTE-capable, and at the same time, what date is an exception in the smartphone area.
Ideally suited to separate work and personal life, at all times and no matter where can switch between networks when necessary
Conclusion:
For under 200 Honor 4X is a very well-equipped smartphone, with long battery life, dual LTE-Sim, and is thus a strong buy recommendation!
