Below are my impressions are described in detail:
Power:
The Power of the device has more than convinced me of using multiple compute-intensive applications. The I7 processor and the built-in 8 GB RAM memory master all demanding applications such as graphics and video editing or simulation software with flying colors and can (for me) nothing to be desired!
Style:
The plain, dull exterior of U36S is very high quality and provides a pleasant alternation represents the piano lacquer designs in recent years. On top of that is almost the entire device (to the screen paint is) resistant to fingerprints.
The flat design of 1.9 cm is almost closer to Ultrabook Dimensions and my claims to more mobile applications than meet!
Battery:
The installed battery did previously convince and ranges at medium power settings and ordinary Internet and Office activities in my experience 6 - 7 hours. At minimum power settings are certainly still longer maturities to achieve.
As unexpected negative point is the angle connector of the charging cable has proven that often slips out of the charging port Accidental Move the appliance.
Fan:
Even with power-hungry applications such as simulation programs, the fan remains mostly calm and jumps only on for a short period before he falls silent again for a long time.
The fan noise is pleasantly quiet, but the heat in the usually very short running time is enormous, which personally does not bother me much.
Screen:
Although the 13.3-inch display is not anti-reflective, this is for me, however, no negative point, as I have already had negative experiences with the anti-reflective at low brightness copies. The brightness of the U36SD enough for mobile outdoor use in bright sunlight and the reflections stay, as long as you head before sitting in decent limits.
Keyboard:
The keyboard I find very pleasant! The buttons are slightly farther apart than in most notebooks of similar size and have a pleasant pressure point. Furthermore, I would classify the key noise as quiet.
Touchpad:
The only real negative on U36SD is in my view the touchpad, which reacts extremely sluggish, and at the edges is almost inoperable. The implementation of multi-touch functions have not been possible for me. It is hoped that the problems with software updates can be resolved by ASUS over time. Furthermore, does the 'Click-bar' extremely inferior and unstable and thus does not fit into an otherwise high-quality overall appearance of the device. I suspect it is only a matter of time until the bar triggers excessive use from the device.
Connections:
On a device of this size all expectable connectivity are to be found (see product description). The interface for connecting an external monitor I feel in principle on the back pleasant, but the lateral positioning is probably due to the extremely flat design and therefore excusable.
Speaker:
For Notebook ratios I would classify the speakers U36SD as neat, but this should not be a sign of quality. Clear sound or even high quality music playback can be expected in any case. However, for entertaining applications they serve their purpose.
Webcam:
The webcam is not significantly different from similar products. Since I do not use themselves and can only rely on low historical data from other articles, I do not want to dwell on this.

Update: 22/03/2013
Unfortunately, the appliance after less than a year now use several defects, which have forced me to me to buy another PC (at Amazon).
On the one hand is the "start button" to turn the unit despite tactile occasionally not function then the notebook can not be started as requested (charged batteries / or power cables are not self-evident cause of the problem ...). Secondly, the device runs on a regular basis very hot (more intense, prolonged fan operation) and switches itself off after a period for safety reasons. Angesichhts this Definzite and the consequent unreliability, it is no longer fit for use for me as a business notebook.
