- The new keyboard has (contrary to the description here on the site) is no battery, but is powered by two lithium batteries (CR2032) (!). Logitech promises a term of two years.
- The New can "wake up" the iPad. That was at the old keyboard unfortunately not the case
- The New can be activated automatically when using the iPad in the holder, and deactivated again.
- The keyboard is noticeably thinner than the old, about as thick as the iPad Air 2
- The angle of the iPad can be changed. This is nice, but has not missed you at the old keyboard.
- The magnet holder like it better in the old keyboard. Although it is chic, that the holder completely fades away when not iPad is adhered, the holder is, however, quite "windy" and is approximately 4mm beyond the iPad. If one with the iPad keyboard so the "iPad-side" it rests on the holder and on one edge of the iPad. To me it is already happened a few times that the packaging of the iPad in your pocket, this separates from the keyboard.
Conclusion: clean off the keyboard ago did not differ, the new and the old keyboard.
So who can live with the thickness and the lack of on / off the iPad, can save money with the old keyboard, especially since it works with a rechargeable battery and a more robust iPad-magnetic holder has (a bit like the original cover).
Whom the old keyboard is too thick, or whom the car on / off is worth the extra cost should access here.
The shapeless magnetic holder is me an eyesore and costs the fifth star.
