But first the positives. The character creation and advancement are well done, everything doing what the role players heart desires. Also great idea to have 2 main characters, even if you play alone. The main and side quests are also nicely done, not outstanding, but good. The best thing about the game, however, is the appearance! Finally an RPG which is linked to the classics BG, IWD, etc. The game world is very rich in detail, and as you can tell designed with devotion. What I did not like, however, were the annoying and sometimes illogical puzzles. Too often I have had to visit the Help Forum to get further. Even the difficulty of the fights in the beginning is extreme. Here, the balance could be better. Similarly, many texts that lead to nothing. Often one reads about something important, because you just cross reads after the umpteenth text passage, also because of the lack of speech. Only the two main characters have to say from time to time something, but only in English. A German Synchro would have been done at the little talk in one day, and the atmosphere would have done well.
In Detail: Character Design = 5 stars Graphics / atmosphere = 4-5 star Fights = 4 stars Story / Quests = 3-4 star Mystery = 2 stars Companion (4-party) = 2 stars (remain very pale) Total fun (yes that matters) = 4 stars
So despite some improvement I liked it well. Especially because there is only a "stop gap" was for me, because DA: I apparently fully went into his pants and I really wanted to play this Christmas.
