In mixed emotions

As I have the bundle ProTrain 11 & ordered me 12, I actually knew from the outset, more interested in me which route: Hamburg-Flensburg, ProTrain 11, because I am there already driven more often.
The North German track has me pretty convinced. Here I think especially the opportunity to drive not only from Hamburg to Flensburg, but also to Kiel, pretty good, also tasks run from Hamburg to Kiel. Although the route is in many places rather flat and driving for the generous speed limits rather uncomplicated, but that's just north of Germany and not Austria.
For ProTrain 11-track, I would therefore awarded 4 stars. Why only four? The answer is a tried and tested problem of Microsoft Train Simulator: the sounds of locomotives, which are often simply unacceptable. Not only that, also bugles sound more like a crowing cock over for a locomotive. In AddOn Hamburg-Flensburg to z. B. shows this particularly unpleasant, in the locomotive BR 143, whose booming sound has nothing to do with reality.
So: good, but not very good, four stars for ProTrain 11!

In southern Germany AddOn I'm already not particularly happy with the route: In northern Germany there are some places relatively little variety, but Karlsruhe-Basel is simply boring in many places. Even the route - straight from north to south - promises not just an exciting experience, but if you ever long not get away from the constant allotments, it is sufficient eventually.
Another issue that was 12 not brilliantly, but reasonably acceptable solved at ProTrain, are the stations. It may well be that small stations do not differ greatly from each other, but if all look the same - and they do, even over long distance away parts! - Can not vote anything. One would at least avoid that at some stations even the placement of the people is the same. The large train stations, you can let stand as they are, but that's about it on the subject stations.
The sounds are not bad, but not better than ProTrain 11. Only in tram GT8100D the sound falls on unpleasant, here a typical jingle would have been better.
Too bad that the interior of the ICE 1 remains the view of the restaurant here has since ProTrain Karwendelbahn really nothing done!
Overall, I can forgive only two stars for PT 12 unfortunately.

Whether AddOns now are bundled or not, plays for me at my ratings do not matter. Therefore, you can read my review as a four-star rating for PT 11 and see a two-star rating in PT 12. Too bad, since much more could have been done!
I can recommend the bundle after all, since two routes for the price of a course is a bargain. However: Who PT 11 already, I advise specifically on the purchase of other add-ons, unless one has editor experience or knows an update.
In total there is therefore a "well" from me, the graphics are a bit boring namely at two addons.
