And what can I say - it's mostly very appealing.
The graph has been criticized in some reviews of games magazines for the PS4 - I can not understand, the graphics are NextGen and the hammer. In contrast, for example to Assassins Creed 4 I can in Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for the PS4 does not recognize that you would simply use the PS3 version and slightly polished.
The graphics in the game is great, the Cutszenes are great. Atmospheric I find it great, the story is told great.
The fact that letters and relics found are explained by either Lara or the documents are found read in the voice of the author, I was very atmospheric and engrossing. More than once, I had literally almost goosebumps when so many creepy letter was found.
The story struck me as very dense and atmospheric.
The control is managed the puzzles and features make mostly fun. There is variety - balancing smaller minigames as on beams, Schleich missions, shooting missions etc.
Only negatives are actually following for me:
-The sometime recurring routine tasks: kindle this fire, that box doing in order to find new goodies, shoot with the bow, a connection cable from A to B
-also if something else should be fooled by the storage and rapid travel function - Tomb Raider is not really "Open World". When "Open World" is used, then fairly linear levels are partly Just limited somewhere. Sure, there are here and there a secret passage or a secret corner where you can then find the goodies and relics. But that's just at the end simply linear.
- "Trigger Events": in conjunction with the linear world, there are some simple arg many "trigger events" - Move to point A then spawn X opponents, the opponents fight simply comes another etc.
-man has a pickaxe, which is specified as a "weapon" in your inventory, but you can not equip a weapon, but only use as a tool. At least I have not yet managed to strike with a pickaxe, although it would offer in the melee. Either logic error or if they somehow can use usability fail. That's the only thing that bothers me.
In conclusion, a clear recommendation - but for 5 star it takes my mind just a little more.
