2 red sockets higher current to 2 A and 2 Black for up to 1 A, if I have the instructions properly understood. And if I now my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 plug in alone, I have to with the device exhibiting the display because it is not enough to charge otherwise. The original power supply of Samsung supplied 2 A and was enough to continue to make calls, if the rechargeable battery was all but hanging on the charger. In this power supply will not do. From this I conclude that the red jacks deliver 2 A no. Otherwise, the charger is high well made and humming is doing nothing about it. Therefore only 2 stars.
