In one word: epic!

The Shrianese Federation is at war - against one of their own: Far-ad-din the Prefect of Amnon. But this did not commit the offense alleged against him. Opinion:
I have not read a long book that has inspired me so. In many books which I had lately in his hand, I had often the impression that the authors can not write. Sentences and phrases came to me ticked off and awkward. So not here! The author writes liquid and visually stunning. He manages to draw the reader into his world into already on the first page. A world of bygone civilizations, different cultures and strange magic. It is a fantasy book by some known elements emerge (as Wyvern or dragons) but prominent are really the things that are a not yet encountered. The book and the author is bubbling with new ideas. (In some books one has to really feel it in the knowing one or other version already.) The author creates an interesting world, a complicated political system of different houses and cultures. It diving creatures on how the thaw se, lion nature, or the Iphyrie, the horse people ...
Especially the political system I would like to get some explanation. In the back of the book there is a glossary (which you also need) with the most important expressions and a list of emerging people, but a graphical representation of the political system would have been interesting for me. I would like to know how much influence the spokesperson of the people or the Supreme scholars on the whole and in relation to the 100 houses really have.

Conclusion: I devoured the book. It's imaginative, exciting and very interesting. Immerse yourself in a new world and do not want to leave them. I really read a lot and was for a long time once again really excited about a story. Absolute buy recommendation!
