In proper housing quasi silently

I use the power adapter for about nine months. Installed it is with me on the housing base of Antec Nine Hundred
This has to be transported away by the Netzeil itself no warm air. The R3 is semi-passive, ie the fan shuts down completely when no heat is generated.
In my case, the rather large fan moves as good as not, in other words it runs quasi passively with me! I've only once noticed that the fan started off. This will often be probably in the summer again the case.

The adapter itself hangs with me an MSI Z87 7821-001R-G45 Gaming, an Intel i7 4770K, an Asus R290X (exerts great heat), a normal HDD and an SSD. So there is no shortage of consumers, although the power supply is always nice and quiet. Even if times the fan should address my GraKa is always loud ^^

It is especially nice course in desktop / office use, then you hear just anything!

The Newton R3 has 80PLUS Platinum Certification, so very efficient! The cables are part-modular. Only the cables that you are anyway needs fixed it. Sufficiently long cables with enough plugs are included. According to the manufacturer, it is a single rail with 50A on the 12V Netzeil rail.

All in all, I've never regretted the purchase. With 600W power is still room for improvement.
