Shania Twain begins with a pure country song: "What made you say that" a melodic mid-tempo song with a correct one still expandable voice. Most of the songs are written and recorded in Coutry style. How about the Shania self-written "God is not gonna getcha for that" a fun track with the typical Shania Touch, which is recover in later songs. But there are also rocking and POPable exceptions: "Still Under The Weather" is to reflect all the power that lies in Shania's voice a beautiful ballad in. Lyrically seen almost all of the tracks on this album are very simple knit ("God is not gonna getcha for that" however, is the only song which Shania wrote himself). In summary, this album is really successful but certainly not the best of Shania Twain.
