After my MFP EPSON (BX300F) has given its services to approximately 3 years (Printhead is defective) I opted for this multifunction printer.

I welcome the paper tray sitting HP-typical front. This makes the printer more compact.
The print speed is faster compared to EPSON. And also the general operating noise I find enjoyable and quieter.

The HP Officejet 4622 I have connected via USB to the Fritz box 6490. Printing, scanning and direct faxing from your PC to function without problems.
The use of WiFi is fiddly to set up and very unreliable.

The MDF collection does a good and reliable services. Multi-page document scanning is thus no problem.
The fax is reliable, if a little slow. While you can change the fax speed, but a big difference, I could not notice. That is why a star deduction.

The menu, which takes place via the color display is simple and easily understood.

I can recommend the HP Officejet 4622 anyone who wants to spend on a multifunction printer no huge sums.
