Parov Stelar - Coco (Part 1)

It is a benevolent bliss that absolute harmony of our consciousness. Everything including the time around us disappears and is no longer important in this moment. The pacification lies down like a warm veil over our eyes, showered us with serotonin and plays seductively with our happiness. Unfortunately, the conditions for achieving the happiness condition can not be completely achieved. What is missing, were the flying words in our minds. What is wrong with the fact in its entirety to enjoy a work of absolute perfection without restraint? Quickly the issues associated to an insightful response: The time. The required time to this amazing work of Parov Stelar to find. A lost time now could be thought of. But we tend to a positive attitude, we can see it from this point of view: The album fits in retrospect so much better in this cold and dark season, as it could ever have for release in late August can be. Yes, perhaps it's nice painting, but why argue over trifles.

'Coco Part 1' is the perfidious dream of a flawless philosophy which, as one may see it finally, was split into two parts. The clear focus lies with 'Coco Part 1' represented by the worn piano sounds gently awakens to life, is built to full size by the haunting beats and experienced singer with Lilja Bloom the first highlight of a dreamlike journey into verzückenden spheres. 'Hurt' begins mysteriously, contrast, vented the oppressive atmosphere with soft jazz impressions from the background, soothing beats and simply fantastic vocals that 'For Rose' from the musical point of view, can move almost insolent in the shadows. 'True Romance' is again a piece with Lilja Bloom and unobtrusive support of the classic 'Shine'. This list would abendfüllend, too beautiful, too fanciful to indescribable each of these individual pieces to perfect the new Gesamstkunstwerk of Parov Stelar, makes us fall like a freefall down briefly in 'Distance' featuring Lylith. And always when rolling synths lapse for a moment in deep silence.

'Wake Up Sister' moves as up-tempo number afloat through the verses, broken saxophone snippets and a dense atmosphere are not only here the supporting pillars, but on the entire long player. Even the Hip Hop is cut short, however, not only as a side issue, but as an integral part in the central middle of 'Coco Part 1'. He starts at the collaboration with Blaktroniks and ends shortly thereafter with Veda 36 and the most impressive song. A piece of the jazz, house, hip hop, electro and breakbeat combines, indeed conflated into a mass, like hardly another song before. The past is a foreign undescribed actually. Where Parov Stelar is, there was certainly nothing previously and quite you will not find anything wrong. He is an exceptional talent, the so playfully arranges his pieces, as if he had composed while getting up and allmorgentlichen breakfast. 'Your Man' begins surprisingly complicated, slowly evolving into a rapidly growing flower and jumps to the listener as unexpectedly fantastic dancefloor number in the ear canals.

A number that is sitting at the end with each security firmly in mind. Now you could read only positive up to this point, no criticism in the strict sense, pure praise. Normally, this is for boards of Parov Stelar normality, but as hard as it now may also fall, the final part loses a little of substance, the experiment 'Létoile' is not the usual completion and the final part 'You And Me' with Lilja Bloom 'makes the usual qualities of Parov Stelar miss a little. But why unnecessarily shed tears, after all, we are with an incredibly impressive second plate, brings the stronger House-influence with him, pressed against the glittering walls. Following are familiar pieces like 'Hotel Axos' or 'Libella Swing', and playful and driving beats to perfection, which can put simply ascend to a masterpiece 'Coco' and therefore can receive only one of us: The highest rating. And while we bow in awe of this undisputed exceptional talent.

Parov Stelar - Coco (Part 2)

Voluminous. Already the expansion in the early seconds for 'The Mojo Radio Gang' pushes us hard at the glittering wall thus taking the great and honorable responsibility of 'Coco (Part 1)'. Still dazzled from the last few minutes that seem like a strange dimension, we awaken in soft piano sounds to be wiped beats and vocals, created in the early 20s. Just typical Parov Stelar. Seamlessly he creates a transition to the single variety. And the saxophone can be time not to be asked twice and conjure lightning a sparkling disco landscape in exhilarating atmosphere. Lilja Bloom is also included and is your single guest appearance in the second piece 'Ragtime Cat'. The electronic part of moves after the first five minutes noticeably to the fore, assumes quiet but determined the knob and turning it to a significant turning upward. A swing of the dance especially legs to appeal because a 'Libella Swing' not only the melodies can swing up and down soothing, but you also missed a decent shove. Chimes and a little music from the Balkans, Parov Stelar will also with the second part an exceptional position.

Everything fits together seamlessly, nothing seems out of place and many fans expected to already know. Finally, we enjoy songs like 'Hotel Axos' and 'Libella Swing' already the longer. It's wonderful. This lively atmosphere. The feeling finally found the perfect Glückseligkeit- everything has gathered and now listens to the sounds of 'Catgroove' with Brazilian Samba Feeling. Embarking the rule but soon withdrawn and raging saxophone transform the piece into a wild up-tempo number about. This is where one of the indescribable moments in every life that once could hear Parov Stelar. The seconds, the minutes, the engrossing moments, everything goes in incredibly constant frame rate past our mind's eye, leaving burning sensations. The deserved relaxation expects the handset finally in the middle part in 'Matilda' while revealing of the most relaxing numbers 'The Flame' and 'Fleur De Lille' has a funky and room-filling electro-jazz event. Brilliantly.

Once the high side, it could now read: Each of these lines of text would actually end up in a superlative. How is one to the plate to take adequate account otherwise? Because that has to sound unique in connection with the mixture of Parov Stelar a saxophone, is known worldwide. The result as a counter but can also occur in fatigue effect after a certain period, has the Austrian-born not forget of course and hurls us in 'Monster' sometimes just an impeccable electro dancefloor number on the floor. And we must now briefly let the mind wander and think secretly: How well have the unmet dreams of Moby look. But Parov Stelar leave it at that? No, he puts the closing track 'Nosferatu' one last stone on top of it and then rolled out to the Balkan Express back to our starting point. In addition to this musical 5 star menu, there are virtually the last delicacies, even the remix of 'The Mojo Radio Gang' nothing to it. And with the last vanished sound to write 'Coco' then finally in the unforgettable work of music history.
