I've tried the Synchromat with a Canon Speedlite 580 EX II and a Canon Speedlite 430 EX. In both of Synchromat has ignited the flash once, then no more. Only after I have the Synchromat briefly separated by lightning and reconnected or have the flash off and turned back on, it went again. But only for a flash firing.
