Incredible Beauty

Tabula Rasa (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Hey Users,

This present music written by Arvo Pärt, interpreted among others by Keith Jarrett and Gideon Kremer and other absolute top musicians is so incredibly beautiful that one almost takes your breath away.

So far, I knew more Arvos brute, dissonant and oblique side as in his incredibly intense Symphony No. 2 which I first heard on the radio some years ago. The banned here to CD music however is a whole other Baustelle.Filigrane melancholy string sounds, dreamy piano runs from and directed to a nervous Pizzicato alternating with some aggressive violent places and absolutely brilliant, perfect dramatic pauses - this music is truly beautiful.

A special plus for me is that never show up in the arrangements of Arvo Pärt kitschy passages. The music may sometimes sound very sweet and in love, so it is obviously not a "Weichgespüle" which comes here to lecture. I feel every musically interpreted emotion, every cry of the violins (nice to hear in "Cantus in Memory of Benjamin Britten") to be absolutely sincere. Here nothing works placed, and unlike some other pieces played here Pärt the pieces never seem designed. This is music that comes from the heart and just sat back arrived there, with a small detour via the ear canals.

At times reminds me the whole of "Carnival of the Animals" and the "Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra ', abzukupfern right course without even a single time without their own ideas of these works.
The melodies that finds Pärt are so full of warmth and used so loving, they are like a hug when things go really dirty you, and this music is especially for absolutely every course can open up to her emotionally. No pseudo-intellectual Rumgefidel without passion but all the more notes on the sheet, no crash to the crash will and certainly not a Viennese Waltz lard à la Strauss: Pärt seems to throw up here a whole range of fully-cheek feelings in front of the listener to give everything ago while still unspoken much to say.

For me the CD "Tabula Rasa" is an absolute must for every musical household interested and a classic!

Who can the disc should increase as vinyl, the sound of the analog medium supports bulbous soul of music immensely and convinces with warmth and intensity.

Special Anspieltipps: Fratres (Brothers) - Wonderful music

Words can hardly describe what I feel when I hear you, but the music itself can do it!
