I tried to put the bluetooth in my car and when I knew that he had to rely 500 Bluetooth module installed by the manufacturer, I immediately did research for an alternative solution. There it is: Kinivo!
Double-sided tape is present in the packaging and it is very effective, posed, it is stuck! It adheres perfectly to the small wired remote (which has 3 clickable buttons and an integrated microphone).
To install, it is simple, you connect the power supply (cigarette lighter) and the 3.5mm cable and voila.
Then simply attach the round remote where you want thanks to the double-sided disc. (I placed it next to the gearbox for the hand near the telecomande, and microphone works very well from my speakers).
Benefits:
_so Cheap! about 30!
_Audio Bluetooth without jerks and very good quality
_SE Torque automatically (for this first activate your bluetooth on your phone and then turn on the ignition of your car)
_Télécommande Handy (center button to answer a call, hang up, and next button above)
_Micro Inside the remote control
_Micro Very efficient (the parties hear very good)
-Very Quiet (blends perfectly with the interior of the dashboard)
Disadvantages:
_Fils A bit short (cable remote control, 70 cm more would have been appreciated in order to pass the cables under the steering wheel)
_Fils Very thin and soft (do not crush them under penalty of damaging the son)
In my case, I have in the armrest of the two connectors. The connection is done so discreetly and son do not see visuelement. Remember to set the remote control in a location easily accessible by your hands to answer, hang up and change tracks).
I recommend this product, I'll even order another one that I will put aside in case!
(For those who do not have a 3.5mm jack in their car radio, you can refer to the Jabra Cruiser 2: bluetooth + radio waves).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Small note: pity that there is no ON / OFF switch which turns off the receiver and therefore limit the air.
After 10 months of use, the microphone housing is no longer working properly. The noise on the line will sound and the conversation is inaudible. I think the cables are very thin and son in interiors must be damaged.
I see with customer service because the housing is 1 year warranty. So I see my notation will revert to 5 stars.
EDIT 25/03/2015: I received a new kit to replace the one that was failing. Thank you for the service.
For the next version:
_ Consider making a thicker cable (for those in the current version are very thin)
_ Include a magnetic base to be able to move the Bluetooth box.
_ Include an ON / OFF button to turn off the case and therefore cut the bluetooth.
Thank you :)
