When Sharp Home 1000/3000 is a very well-crafted stone with medium to solid bond orderly removal, sanding and more super low wear!
This product here is virtually the opposite is. Visually, it is similar, but these are around a stone with very very soft binding (as opposed to 1000/3000 is here on the product side to the present day [02/18/2015] not the hardness the whetstone specified), virtually no removal and also wear enormous! This how fast the work area of the stone is worn extremely dirty because vast amounts incurred to the abrasive slurry on top of the blade and collects virtually anywhere, quickly dry out and then dusted. Furthermore, the grinding pattern is not too convincing!
The 1000 page of this stone is not in the least comparable with the 1000 side of the Sharp Home 1000/3000! Practically no erosion, worse sanding and much higher wear!
The 1000 page of Sharp Home 1000/3000 wears faster and more material on the blade from the side of the 400 Sharp Home 400/1000!
