+ FM Transmitter is amazingly powerful, pushes even other radio stations away. TIP: wanted to send the unit only because of the miserable transmitter back, when I realized that all preset frequencies compared to the recipient were shifted by 0.05 Mhz (eg not 90.20 but 90.25 MHz MHz). At the receiver readjusted: Goes.
+ Suction cup sticks to the disc in an iPhone. iPads I have not tested.
+ Is recognized by an iPhone 3Gs and iPod Nano 6G immediately and without any problems. The device is then charged via the cigarette lighter plug and sends to the set frequency, the audio signal
+ USB output to charge other devices, such as mobile or VA nav!
+ Power supply via Mini-USB connector, meaning you can operate the charging station with FM transmitter and on a laptop or USB hub. Alternatively, use the cigarette lighter plug for charging a Navis.
- The FM transmitter can not be deactivated. It's annoying, because the conventional radio reception is disturbed by almost all frequencies. Charging of iPhones at gleichzeitem radio listening in the car is therefore almost impossible.
- It's just Supersize and really extremely ugly!
CONCLUSION: acceptable and reliable for the price. However, one has to comments from passengers as "what the hell is this" or "just throw a towel over it but" to put up with.
