What's so special about this album? Finally there is the famous "Absolutely Live" on CD: the most intense, atmospheric art live album that I've ever heard. You can literally feel the atmosphere: short vor'm riot at any time turn over ready - and in the middle of the shaman Morrison. As he breaks the rhythm in "When The Music's Over" to provoke the audience and yet at any time has in his hand, is fascinating. For this here is still one of the best sounding live recordings of the '60s. As a bonus there is the atmosphere is not nearly as tight "Alive She Cried", it is rather to be understood as smorgasbord of various live recordings - not as a concert recording. But even here, there are pearls: the dreamy-gloomy "Moonlight Drive" or the ingenious combination of "Texas Radio" with "Love Me Two Times" for example. Total stops: Absolutely goutieren! It is worth it.
