There are 300Mbit promised but I'll be glad when times 8 or even 16 attained. My cable line of 32Mbit I can avoid pushing even though only 5 feet between the router and adapter are with this adapter.
On the router, it is not because the PS3 reached via WLAN the full 32Mbit.
If you can live with 2-3Mbit and unstable connection that can access reassured.
But in most cases I'd rather say: Hands off!
