After a little research we chose this TP-Link Bridge.
The scope of supply and the packaging is absolutely fine - about the color composition (Black Bridge, gray Patch cable white power supply) can argue.
As for me, everything is invisible behind a wall lining, it's not a gripe for me. The whistling or any field disturbances caused by the somewhat cheap power supply, what some reviewers complained about, I can not understand.
The manual setup of wireless is done in a few steps, and proverbially "foolproof".
I run at the Bridge my media PC, a PS3 and my Sony HX855 television. The Internet connection is properly full bandwidth, and after one week I use can not detect any faults or interruptions. I use the Bridge in 5GHz band.
Since I do not streame, or large amounts of data shifting in the home network, the limitation through the "only" 100 Mbit ports does not matter.
My rating:
++ Packaging
++ Delivery
++ WLAN device manually
++ Dual Band
++ 4 Ethernet ports
o colors of the individual components
o something inferior power supply
o Short cord
- No clear explanation about the built-in Ethernet Part (hub, switch, etc.)
Interested parties who wish to stream media should select among some high end devices that have a integierten Gbit switch. That would also with a "Fast Ethernet" (100Mbit) Switch function, but neither the datasheet WA890, nor the website use the term "Switch", so I guess it's just a stroke. This is likely also the sporadic jerking what some reviewers complain, can be explained.
My claims the device will absolutely just, and the small criticism not induce me to devaluation.
Thumbs up and 5 stars.
