You can connect to the internet via LAN cable or via WiFi dongle, which you have to however additional purchase.
I have available here special Grundig WiFi dongle purchased for approx. 35: Installation and operation einwandffrei.
The applications over the Internet to the usual extent, eg. Ex. Sometimes a missed film about the library look-if available.
The performance of course depends on the speed of the Internet on site.
From my experience, it works for 3 ... 5 kbit / s already very good (smooth).
If other participants make the Internet 'tight', as it gets more with watching movies from the archive - jerky.
However, this has nothing to do directly with the device, but only to the Internet site.
I use this feature only occasionally (about 1x per month)
The most important thing - the TV itself:
Very good picture in HD resolution - perfect for me.
For fine-tuner: gigantic Picture controls (actually you play at the beginning, then you will never need it - at least for me).
Bin approximately 4 meters in front of the 55-incher and see very good - great image.
Even current programs that are not broadcast in HD, have good quality playback.
For me, a perfect price-performance ratio.
