In a nutshell - >> One uses the meter easily as Plug & HEATING component - take it in your hands, insert plug gauge, read measurement, selection has been made - that's it!

Precisely for this reason I have gained me the part and I must say that I am very happy with it.
Even my skeptical wife (statement: Why do you have for the toys bought again, I was able to convince them of the ease of use)

Other functions such as temperature measurement in degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit I do not use.
Likewise, the moisture measurement for the masonry is only secondary for me, was not a reason to buy.

I would recommend the Mini wood moisture meter without restrictions.

It is absolutely easy to use and even without instructions (this can be found on the inside of the carton) transparent - so to speak, "DEPPEN-safe" ;-)

ADDENDUM # 1 (Summer 2011):
Have the unit still have now in the third season running and the batteries juice - remarkable!

Addendum # 2 (November 2011):

The batteries have now made it limp.
When the top right of the display the battery is displayed it comes to incorrect measurements!
Replacement of the 4 button cells is strongly recommended here.
Replacement - simply search for LR44 Amazon and order 4 pieces.
