Is a super addition to any ultrabook or Windows tablet, which has only a very limited number of USB slots. Unfortunately, my Surface Pro 3 has only a single USB 3.0 and no LAN port, which is why I have a LAN port used. In order not to occupy the single USB, so this device is perfect here!

Did it infected, drivers have been installed immediately under Windows 8.1, LAN connector connected and you are done. Could not even test whether the full Gigabit speed is reached in the local network, but my 50 Mbit Internet comes all through and I guess that's definitely in there thanks to USB 3.0.

So full purchase recommendation for this USB Ethernet hub! :)

Previously had an almost identical product from another manufacturer, which unfortunately had disconnections.
