Overall, I am very disappointed with this product. Is here - except the 0mm blowing up - absolutely nothing "barefoot". Quite a lump at the base. The color does not match the image, the outer material is significantly darker.
The Vibram sole is as rigid as a conventional shoe, it can be rotated or not bend (just me great strength). The sole is therefore very inflexible and so the foot feels in contact with the ground, as if a metal plate including (of course somewhat exaggerated, but who "barefoot" can be written into the shoe, this criticism should insert). The upper - I should have known it - is just as inflexible. In total, the foot is not able to function properly in the shoe. Only the promise 0mm drying ensures that occurs naturally, but the entire process step, the foot feels like in a straitjacket. I also have the right size of the shoe, because it is not. It is good that your toes have plenty of space, however, can, as I said, not "work" because you toes practically neither down nor can move upward.
Compared to my Nike Free 3.0, which have a 4mm blowing, let the shoes not nearly such a ride arise as the Nike Free. And even the Nike Free I do not find in all points optimally (including the blowing up when's "barefoot" is supposed to be? What the strong damping?).
The most beautiful are so far the Vibram FiveFingers have been, but I seem at Merrell at the wrong address to be when I am looking for a similar flexible minimal shoe for everyday wear. You could try with another Upper still at Merrell, but then is from the question of whether there is not just the sole inflexible and foot occur the "pretending".
This shoe is certainly very class for those who are looking for a used rigid shoe, this time with 0mm blowing up and otherwise very good workmanship. On these points, the shoe is certainly recommended, but the title of "barefoot" and with an MSRP price of 120, - is completely undeserved.
