I have the player for three months.
I have deliberately waited a little longer before I write something about the device.
I've been using the device only for BD, BD-R, DVD, DVD-R / RW, DVD + R / RW (including DL), all formats of CD and USB playback.
Network connections, and apps I do not use.
The device makes a high impression optically and is well made.
The installation went smoothly and easily.
The drive is quiet and does not cause any disturbing noise during disc playback. Only it is to hear the reading of the disc, as it auftourt here.
Any disc that I've inserted into the device have been identified quickly and easily played.
This was so far no player from other well-known manufacturers. Therefore, at this point a big plus to Samsung for the playability of the different disc formats
Picture and sound quality are very good. I have connected to a Samsung TV to the player. This allows me to use the BD Wise function that produces the best picture quality between the player and TV.
The only minor flaw I've found is the analog audio output. If you use this example for playback of an audio CD, at high volume in the idle breaks hear a slight humming sound. Surely something was saved at the ground conductor here. Since this is not relevant but for me, I see no reason to assess this negative. Other brands have for the most part to no more analog audio output. Audio playback via opt. Digital output or HDMI is perfect.
For power consumption:
The manufacturer's nameplate - 22W
My own measurements: playback from USB - 13W
Playback of CD / DVD - 14W
Playback of Bluray (without 3D) - 15W
Conclusion: I would buy the player back and can only recommend it in this price range.
