As Vodafone LTE customer I have purchased a 2011 B1000 with. That worked very well, but is now more and more slowly with constant failures. Support is at Vodafone now unheard of. This stick I bought very cheap here on Amazon. Less than 10 degrees. Today the B1000 failed completely and my internet was dead, so I've taken the SIM card, the stick plugged into a Netbook (Windows 7 64 bit) and the installation went off immediately. The operation failed because a driver was not recognized here. And now? New drivers without Internet? Thankfully I have a smartphone that could serve as a hotspot. :-) Charged installed + So off to the Web and the new driver. Here, the stick was not in the PC (!) Then restart, the drive into the USB. Hey presto logs the software and requires a firmware update. A click on OK and the journey you go. After a few times drive out and back inside the stick is detected, the update runs. After an estimated small eternity (5 minutes?) The update is finished.
And then? The Hammer! W ith the B1000 router + ext. Antenna go only a mere 3-4 MB / s. With this drive it is again raging 20MB / s down and more than 10 MB / s Up. (Without antenna !!)
This is probably the tip and therefore highly recommended. Really good does not have to be expensive.
