The Tivoli PAL is not unfounded, a cult object. The price is not excessive. The sound of this radio is so terrific that I would recommend this piece to double the price to buy too! The Tivoli PAL brought for hours, refreshing audio experience with high-end features. Sound resolution, sensitivity of the tuner (which is not even bringing in close to the computer from the rest !!) surprise even die-hi-fi and high-end enthusiasts. I have the Tivoli since 2 weeks, and am very excited about Tivoli as a musician. Human voices come naturally and effortlessly, even large orchestral sound refreshing and dynamic way tiny. The Tivoli has no tone controls or anything else, except volume control. This radio does not need bells and whistles. Vitality and a unique experience among the portable radios. A must-have item for those who have high-end products already, or so here want to own one. Jetz I also understand why some already have multiple Tivoli, in other Farben..Vorsicht! is addicting! By the way, with 5 stars received Tivoli PAL (and IPAL) in the world's largest network of test-magazine "What Hi-Fi?" Test awards.
