Have the camera bought as a compact second camera. Both the resolution and the image quality can absolutely compete with considerably more expensive system cameras. Striking are the good image sharpness at the corners of the image, and the very low chromatic aberration (color fringing). In portrait photography there is a lovely bokeh in the background image. Very functional is the HDR mode in which several images are superimposed to reproduce high contrast areas can see tree pictures. A positive feature is still that the image processor also weakly contrasting image areas again are clean and not blurred to a pulp. A small drawback is the tendency of exposure programs to bright images with overdriven areas (eg for landscapes with sunlight), especially when using the flash. It is advisable to make the settings in the menu to 0.3 to 1 stop darker. As a second camera I have taken the missing hot shoe, and the rigid display consciously accepted as the sole camera would be the version with accessory shoe certainly worth considering. The mechanical design like and makes a solid and precise processed impression. Another positive aspect is that the battery in the camera via USB cable can be loaded, an external battery charger is not necessary. Due to the very compact size, the camera is of course not very good in the hand, the rubber grip available as an accessory is therefore highly recommended. Overall, a very good camera at an attractive price-performance ratio.
