My verdict - after countless test pictures and videos:
1) The picture quality:
In direct comparison with the SONY DSC-HX10 I feel the images of ZR1000 in the color effect and resolution equivalent - although the SONY - loud test judgment - much better cuts.
The 100% view of the PC can not be compared with a DSLR or system camera of course. This is also something unfähr among small sensors.
But the details remain 800 well preserved to ISO. Noise at higher ISO values is not the problem but the detailed illustration!
+ You can limit the ISO limit in the menu - which is really very useful!
What's amazing image quality in high-speed night mode (automatically goes to ISO 25600 but is limited to 10Megapixel) is so good that you really can save the use of other Bestshotfunktionen itself.
Here you can see images even in very low light really good.
Best of all - at the CASIO can keep shooting immediately! The captured images are processed and stored in a manner transparent. I think it's just awesome.
2) Image Stabilizer:
In my view, not very effective. Both the video and the photo mode can be a real help by stabilizing hardly recognize. Whether the image stabilization in the menu on or off switch does not really matter. What helps is again the HS Night Shot. In order to succeed even at full zoom blur-free images.
3) Video Quality:
In good lighting conditions beautifully. At twilight or candlelit unattractive because much noise in the image.
Unfortunately, you can not limit the video at ISO value!
Nice features: Most Bestshotfunktionen can also be used in video mode: eg fisheye, Artshot, blur, monochrome, miniature, etc.!
CONCLUSION:
Bin back of the camera and torn.
Total enthusiasm due to the rapid speed of the operating concept (also because of the folding monitor - also goes for overhead shots, as the camera automatically the screen image rotates as LiveView!), The reasonable image quality and the great Macro mode (1cm from 4 zoom level).
