Installation good, bad service!

I have tested the repeater with a Fritz box 7390. The connection according to instructions went relatively quickly and easily. I have the Fritz box on a plane already poor Wi-Fi reception and therefore wanted to amplify the signal via repeater.

Hoping I have a perfect signal on the ground floor where the box stands and a "normal strong" signal on the first floor. The result is, unfortunately, very bad; on the ground floor I have virtually no improvement (there are only 1-2 signal bars displayed on the repeater at a distance of about 8 meters Box repeater). Upstairs I max. a bar, or no reception. The poor performance was recorded both with the iPhone, and laptop.
The closer you place the device in the direction of Fritz box the better the reception. I only immediately adjacent to the box full power.

Meanwhile, I have already noticed that a repeater the signal is not really strengthened, but only receives and redistributed. That is a bad reason signal is poorly circulated. I am assuming that the wireless transmitter of the Fritz box is not particularly strong, but nothing it changes the repeater in Zusammspiel with the 7390 for me is completely useless and absurd (otherwise the Fritzbox the way outstanding and is as full PBX / VDSL modem used). I'm testing now on the recommendation of a device TP-Link 1043NP (router which acts as Access Point / Repeater / Switch can be used etc., and only 39, - costs). Pure "Steckdosenrepater" there is also much cheaper than by AVM.

Conclusion:
For me, unfortunately, useless! Also, the repeater compared to other manufacturers is way over priced. I already get an identical device for half the price!
