Installation under Windows 7, 32 Bit, Acer 5635Z My old disk (Seagate 250, 5400) were slowly up the ghost (every now and then a "clack", but has normal speed). So a trial basis once ordered this plate. 1. Old cloned disk with O & O DiskImage 2. 1: 1 back secured on new hybrid 3. plate installed = ran without problems immediately high, no reactivation win o. Office required (points system MS) After several boats (learning phase hybrid / SSD) has the boot time greatly reduced (measuring point with me: IE Security ready). Windows 7 could draw no more MS updates after installation of the hybrid, was due to the AHCI drivers. Downloaded latest driver and install updates again = OK. After the action, however, the boot time has lengthened again. I've then the AHCI driver version 9.5.6.1001 downloaded and installed = after the Boozzeit has fallen back to 70 sec. And Win7 updates are also loaded. Compare: Boot time old plate = 130 sec, Hybrid (after learning phase), 70 sec, programs start noticeably faster.. If you re-touches the system after installation of the board, perhaps could go even more. But a clean installation is exactly what I wanted to avoid. This point has been fully met.
For Geschwindikkeit = full credit. I take a point off because of ACHI driver (although this may Seagate nothing but an indication as little paper or website I would have expected). I would buy this record again.
Update June 2013: That was a short pleasure, smoked after 5 months without much load. No opportunity yet to address the board somehow. Diverse Prg's, SeaTools and diverse LLevel format programs tried = No chance, the thing can not even be deleted. So either give the disk with data in the warranty processing or simply with the hammer druff I'm still = =; - ((
