I am so doing:
1. SuperDuper (version 2.7.2) downloaded from the Internet. The demo version is sufficient and is free of charge.
2. Insert JetDrive 420 (SSD module) in the external housing
- Comparison of Video Home (all necessary screwdriver included)
3. Connect the SSD with computer (USB port)
4. With SuperDuper! all data from the old hard drive to copy JetDrive (including bootable make)
- Copying took several hours (I could nebenei continue working on the computer)
5. The SSD taken out of the housing and the MacBook Pro installed (see. Video from homepage)
6. Start the new MacBooks with SSD
7. It starts (a bit slow) Mac OS X - select in the Control Panel under the new startup disk SSD and restart (which then goes relatively fixed)
8. upload, install and start JetDrive Toolbox from the Transcend website
9. In the Toolbox under JetDrive - TRIM TRIM status to ON and Reboot computer
10. For me, only the password of the Dropbox was re-enter -
other programs such as Matlab or Mathematica have apparently recognized the license key again
11. Installation of the old hard drive into the enclosure Transcend (very tight - fits)
When referring to drive a black sheath is where you can accommodate the housing (with hard drive).
The program Blackmagic Disk Speed Test from the AppStore, I have the following values:
Write 408 MB / s
Read 482 MB / s
