The plot has been written elsewhere already enough. The story has no real tension, but remains fundamentally interesting and is told slowly. According Steam statistics I have been in 4 hours, which I think is for the publication of the price of 20 in order.
Technically makes the game a first-class impression. The graphics are very nice and detailed, sound and speakers make a very good impression. Is a warning there for users of 32-bit system. The game does not work once and you have to make an adjustment in the memory management, so that you get to run it. For the exact solution I refer to the Steam forum of the game.
What I now do not like: there is simply too little game. The world has a relatively tubular and you walk from this tube. On the way you will find a hand to read a couple of letters and on the other hand a handful of murder scenes. It applies to the murder scenes essentially to seek and to click on certain points. If you have done this, appear around the venue several short movies that you have to click in the correct order. Once that is done, the player the exact sequence of the murder will be played. Zwischendruch collecting even now and then a then store an object at him more obvious location.
And then me playfully simply too weak. The tasks are designed very simple and unfortunately will not be offset by the rest of the game. I understand the concern that you do not want to slow down the story through difficult puzzles but for me would have to tie the game with a great story and it does not. The story is nice, but no more than that, and a great technique alone also does not help then. As it is with the art always so, there is a short wow factor, then one has also re-used to it and then the game by the game design or the story has to convince.
I would like to mention here as a counterexample the Telltale Games The Walking Dead, or the wolf among us. Both series are not calling for a playfully and also technically bad. But captivate by a great story told. The missing The Vanishing of Ethan Carter unfortunately.
