It is a very eclectic choice of music, coming from everywhere and some all time. The comment is made and informative, neither too long nor too short, and it captures the attention of many children. The pieces have a reasonable time, it was time to listen to the song and to soak in, but it's not too long either to avoid that children get tired. The pieces are often beautiful, full of goes with a catchy melody and rhythm. There are some classic arch-known, but there are also some surprising choices, which include pleasant surprises like Contredanse of Manuell Saumell. There are also some less positive surprises as the two extracts Ravel, who are not that Ravel did best or pieces necessary for this CD in my opinion (but tastes and colors ...)
The CD is quite instrumental music oriented but with some forays into opera. Interestingly, although sometimes a little uneven.
