This little book is very nice, no need to stuff the long biographies of writers. It was essential, plus a few anecdotes. For each writer, the author has managed to show us the influence that took his time and his environment on his life and his work. I read this book in a disorderly way, I sometimes come back to some writers at random from my desires and depending on the time available to me (knowing that a few minutes are enough to read a "life." A book to keep handy.
