Just a note to add to previous comments: This author often soupoudre his novels a hint of cruelty in the reports of the couple. In principle, I have nothing against; Sometimes it's an exciting ingredients. But it is also difficult to manage: too many or poorly proportioned and we fall into the unhealthy, see the pervert. This is a complaint I had against "Private Arrangements" I did not like it at all because of it. I think it is much better mastered in "The one I expected," smarter. Still, it remains to improve the end of the story. It's fine to play on the ambiguous relationship love-hate-desire-cruelty of the characters, but we must find the way out of plausible and elegant way. So, here (and I joined the criticism of TAGADA), the end is sloppy in a hurry. In summary: a clear improvement over the previous novels, but still improvable things. This gives hope for future productions by this author!
