The film is certainly something special - from a particular perspective, from a military observer level, and not from that of a documentary filmmaker and journalist. The factual information are unfortunately scanty partly somewhat more precise research, I would have liked, and sometimes quite silly to polemical attitude of Mr. Steidle I do not find easily, and should not be seen very critical. Mr. Steidle has certainly developed good motives over time, so that he would but, if you can go a little further: The tears in his face are indeed certainly genuine, but totally inappropriate in my eyes. So the film is not really his direction between Anti - War and the documentation of the personal experience of another, yes, white man, who fails to bring the "poor Africans" peace. The high emotional tone and the strings in the background, I found in this context basically totally inappropriate and out of place.
