Vol 6 is therefore also "only" a stopgap, which consists of two independent parts. "The Long Road to Hell" tells the story of a small crook couple who soon has bigger problems than that, to be caught pickpocketing. We also meet Travor Kid again, the revenge driven loner and vampire hunter "who likes to bite them back." The story is good, but compared to "The Dead Race" / "The Death Race" the story remains somewhat pale and predictable.
From the second part of the Anthology, I have not promised all too much and was pleasantly surprised. The figures in brackets in a snapshot that shows in which direction it will go with Skinner Sweet further, there are short stories that have been implemented by various creative teams. The most obvious is of course to the drawing stems that go from watercolor style to Ligne Claire. The stories are, as far as I can tell, all small blocks and telling episodes from the past, various protagonists. UA is described how Jones came to Kansas as Travor Kids ancestor came to the family name, which Sweet has ever moved to Hollywood, and there is a letter of Hattie Pearl, who portrays a great revenge story whose resolution, however, in the overall context mE is quite logical not - but that does not matter, the story is great.
It is not the continuation of the main story, but still all worth 5 stars. The second round of actual history, the "Second Cycle" has, incidentally, began in March and the first two individual issues are also available in Germany. The first US-anthology is probably only beginning early next year.
